Why are Data Centers being planned, developed and built now?

Digital Infrastructure is needed to keep up with new and emerging technologies. This website is an example of technology to share information and reach people. Many of us use cell phones, smart tv’s, computers, tablets, search engines and e-commerce. These are all digital tools that are powered by digital infrastructure like a data center. Global use of technology is expanding the need for data centers rapidly. We understand that and agree that data centers are needed.

Growth and change are expected but at what consequence to our residents and community?

NOW is the time for our elected officials - township, city, county and state need to take action to regulate these huge data centers. Protect our natural resources, electrical grid and environment. This includes constituents, not large corporations!
